I Miss My Ricks College Buds!!!

It has been one of those days today that I just couldn't feel happy for any reason. Husband has to work late and I can't find the time to get even the simplest of tasks finished. I have little ones who are tugging on my apron strings (so to speak), a pile of dishes that never seems to end, laundry that can't fold itself, and a really rotten mood to boot. I have come to the realization that I miss all of my Ricks College buddies. A time that was the absolute best for me. Your best friends were down the hall, next door, or a stones throw away from your apartment window. Where time stood still for a short time. Where we had some wild and wonderful times. Now if only we could repeat that at this point in time. It's a wish that I hope someday will come true. Here's to wishing on a star. So all you Ricks College buds (and you know who you are) I hope you enjoy the pics. And p.s. why didn't someone tell me about my hideous eyebrows.

Agreed!!! Those were the good ole days weren't they?!! I miss them too and I've have said many times that if I could choose a time to return to -- that would be the time. (not that I would give up my family - but you know what I mean) Thank goodness for great memories and lasting friendships!!!

I agree too! Even though we were only roommates for one semester- our friendship has lasted a long time don't ya think. I have some roommates (I will not mention) that I haven't spoken to since the last day of school- great friends huh! Well, I hope your days are going better. It was nice to have friends around every corner at college. Thanks to the blogger world it helps a little. I think every young mother needs other young mothers next door to them. I've only had that once and miss it. Even though some friends live just a few streets away it's not the same at all. Great memories! Miss ya!

One of the best times of my life! I miss you guys! I agree with Em, life is good now and I wouldn't trade it for anything, but our time at Ricks was a really great experience for me. Thanks for posting those pictures. I'm going to dig mine out tonight. Reunion anyone?
