Another Christmas, Another Year of Fun

Here are some pics of the family and our Christmas traditions, along with some pics from my work Christmas party. This Christmas was by far the best for our family. Paul was finally able to spend an entire Christmas at home. The kids were just a joy to watch as their eyes lit up when they saw their gifts. I could not have asked for a better time this year. Hopefully next year will be just as good.

Another B-day

I cannot believe that another year has flown by. I think the kids make me forget about the time. They are always running and I am always trying to catch up. At 31 years young now I am truly blessed to have a family that I can love and they can love me. I have a wonderful husband who is always surprising me. Two beautiful children, who though they get into scuffles now really are a blessing in my life. I am blessed to live so close to our extended family that my children can enjoy cousins and aunts and uncles and grandmas and grandpas. For those that are still younger than myself I hope you enjoy every minute of it, I know I have, even if it is starting to catch up to me.

It only took a year!!!!!!

I have been trying to get our updated family pictures done since Madeline was 6 months old. I had the best idea to have us all in camo shorts and white T's. Of course it never happened so I will be trying to do them again next summer. Here are the family photos we had taken just before Thanksgiving. Enjoy.

Anniversary Trip

Yosemite Valley from Tunnel View. Bridalvail falls
Half Dome
El Capitan

For our anniversary we decided to take a trip to Yosemite National Park. It was an absolutely beautiful day. As the pictures will dictate. And Yes the kids did come along too, but it was a lot of fun to have them there with us. They really were great in that car for the long drive. Amazing what DVD systems are now. I think my parents would have liked one back when my brother and sisters and I were so very young and obnoxious.

Happy Anniversary (7 years)

Today Paul and I celebrated 7 years of marriage. It really is amazing how much the time does fly. We were so young and thin. It seems like it was only last year that we were married for eternity. I am so glad that I have my best friend by my side on a daily basis. He really is my rock. Who else would be able to deal with my nuttiness and craziness.

Happy 1st Birthday

Now her birthday isn't until Nov. 5, but today was the best day that we had to help Madeline bring in her first year. She is a bundle of joy. She never stops until it is time to eat or sleep. She is my go getter, my impulsive one, and the one who I wish would sit still so I could sit still. She keeps me on my toes which is a good thing. I wouldn't trade her for anything in the world.

Happy Halloween!!!!!!!!!!!

Wanted to share our photos from our Halloween evening. We went as the crew from Peter Pan. I of course was Peter Pan, Madeline was Tinkerbell, Cameron is Cap'n Hook, and Paul is the crocodile. The costumes went over really well. We are talking about being Goldylocks and the 3 Bears next year. We will keep you updated.

EARTHQUAKE!!!!!

Well now that the fires in S. California are almost contained lets add an earthquake in N. California to the equation. This is now the second earthquake that I have felt. The first being in 1989 and now this evening. A 5.6 on the scale that started near the town of San Jose. Not a bad quake, but enough to shake things a bit. I was sitting on the couch and thought that Paul had snuck up behind me to scare me, I look over and no one is there. Paul was on the computer and yells "Did you feel that?" Crazy. Definately makes you take a look at your emergency supplies to make sure you have everything you would need in case of disaster on a large scale.

Ghosts of Ricks College Past

I thought that since it has been ten years since I graced the Ricks College Campus (I did not know it as BYU Idaho) that I would post some of my old pics of the fun times that I and all of the roommates I had the pleasure of living with. How the time flies. All I can say is that I cannot believe that we did some of the things that we did, but they make for some really great memories. All we need now is to get together to relive some of those moments and make some new ones. I really have missed Riviera # 17 and those that we became friends with living next door to us. I hope that these pics remind you all that life only got better after we moved from lucky # 17. I miss all of you so much and look forward to hearing from you all. Our families are always growing, time is always passing us by, and we are always making some great new friends, but the old ones are always dear to our hearts. I hope these pics bring a smile and a giggle, they did for me.

It's Halloween Time

These pictures of the family and kids are of our recent trip to our local corn maze. It was a lot of fun and we got some great pictures of our family and the kids. I hope you enjoy them and enjoy the upcoming festivities.
